Day 33 - Sunday, August 24, 2008

Sadly, today is the last day of the Olympics. My bed ridden life has basically been consumed in following these games. Now I will have to find another way to pass the time. I should probably stop watching so much TV, anyway. Maybe I will read more? We'll see. I just can't bring myself to watch the political conventions, which sometimes just seem like an ugly hat contest!?!

Bill is here today and we are just watching the final events and closing ceremonies of the Olympics. We also went for a wheelchair ride outside. What a beautiful day! He made me go to get some fresh air. Ever since the ultrasound when my cervix shortened again, I have tried not to be up more than I have to. I also use the excuse that it is ragweed season, but I must admit it was really nice to go outside and I know my doctor is ok with short rides. Bill will stay for the ultrasound tomorrow.
