Day 9 - Thursday, July 31, 2008

Big ultrasound today! They are doing a complete ob, which measures all the babies and estimates their weights. All three looked great and were measuring right where they should be!

• Baby A - Wyatt - 1 lb 10 oz
• Baby B - Grace - 1 lb 8 oz
• Baby C - Chloe - 1 lb 7 oz

They are still really small, but doing great!

At first the cervical length looked good, too. Measured over 3cm! But then they measured it with pressure on it, and it opened right up. :-( Dr. Hendricks said that is why I am here and we just won't put any pressure on it. That is what the bedrest is for.

Bill went back home to assemble nursery furniture after the ultrasound, then returned in the evening to work on registering for gifts for the shower. We had looked at some of the stores, and kind of new what we wanted. We tried to complete the registries all online. Not as easy as it sounds. There is so much stuff! What do we need and what don't we need?!? I was getting so frustrated it raised my blood pressure! We did some, but will have to get back to it later. Bill wanted to do more assembly at home, so he went home for the night. Mimi is getting a little lonely, anyway, so it is good for him to spend time at home.

Our friends Bill and Amy visited today. Amy just graduated from Cosmetology School, so she brought her supplies and gave me a manicure and pedicure. It was long overdue and wonderful! Helped me feel a little normal. Thanks Amy!
