Day 5 - Sunday, July 27, 2008

Dr. Hendricks agreed with Dr. Austin today, and said to plan on staying in the hospital for the duration of the pregnancy. She recommended making it as much like home as possible and even suggested some local restaurants to try take-out from. Dr. also saw a few small contractions on a few of my charts from the monitor, so she increased my dose of Procardia. She said it was nothing to be too worried about, just precaution. This medication, especially with the increase, makes me feel very warm. So, I try to keep the temperature in the room around meat locker range. Bill complains he gets snot-cycles when he is here.

Bill's mom and Sonia brought birthday cake and ice cream to celebrate Bill's birthday. I am happy someone did something for his birthday. I still feel bad I wasn't able to do anything. After the celebration, Bill left to work on the nursery some more and to pick Mimi up from playcare. Mimi spent the weekend at playcare since no one has really been home to spend much time with her. She loves it so much. If you just say playcare she gets excited. She will be tired for several days after this.

My friend Kristin and her son Mason came up to visit. They brought lots of movies to watch, courtesy of George. Thanks George!

Happy 4oth Anniversary Stan & Glo!
