9/2/2008 - Babies on photo therapy
All babies on CPAP (hoses to noses) now instead of ventilators, which is excellent! (Means they are breathing room air with a little bit of pressure.) This happened all within 12 hours after birth. Tonight they are on photo therapy blankets for elevated bilirubin levels. We think they are glowing like aliens! They are all doing very well so far. Thanks to everyone for your prayers and support! Dad and Mom doing well, also. Mom is a little slow and sore, but starting to walk around.

Bill and Mary,
Congratulations on the birth of your absolutely beautiful babies. (I see they have your hair Bill.) Their progress already is amazing - off the vent in 12 hours. Wow - they're tough kids. (They must get that from you Mary because Bill is a wimp)
Seriously Bill, take all the time you need off work and ENJOY your wife and children. My prayers remain with you as your babies continue to grow and thrive.

Thanks, Bill, for these great pictures. I knew the lamp was going to be implemented, and I'm familiar with that. I liked the comment about your "alien" babies. I think they are heavenly, beautiful babies. Those pictures of how they looked right after they were born really meant a lot to me. They are gorgeous!
My friend Deb called tonight to say how well they look and how she totally LOVES them already! And, so do I.
Congratulations to both of you... those are beautiful babies! Can't believe they can be so tiny and so perfect all at once. So happy for both of you.
